MICRONEEDLING & COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY EDUCATION
Advanced Education in Skin Remodeling, Scars & Stretch Marks
Bare Beaute’s Microneedling & Collagen Induction Therapy Training goes beyond traditional facial microneedling education.
This course takes a more comprehensive approach to Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), stretch marks, acne scarring, surgical scars, skin texture and skin remodeling.
Rather than focusing solely on traditional microneedling pens and standard microneedling cartridges, students are introduced to the specialized equipment and cartridge configurations used within the Bare Beaute approach, including professional tattoo/PMU-style machines and compatible needle cartridges where appropriate.
But the equipment is only one piece of the education.
The foundation of this course is learning to understand the skin, the tissue you’re working with, the treatment objective, and the reasoning behind your technique.
LEARN THE SKIN. UNDERSTAND THE TREATMENT. MASTER YOUR TECHNIQUE.
Anyone can be shown how to turn on a device. Professional education should go further.
At Bare Beaute, we teach students to understand what they’re trying to accomplish within the skin before choosing their technique.
You’ll explore skin anatomy, wound healing, collagen induction, scar formation, stretch marks, Fitzpatrick skin types, PIH considerations, treatment planning, contraindications and appropriate client selection.
From there, we bring the science and technique together through hands-on education.
The goal isn’t memorizing one device setting or following the same protocol on every client.
It’s understanding why you’re doing what you’re doing.
EQUIPMENT, CARTRIDGES & TECHNIQUE
Our approach differs from many traditional microneedling courses.
Rather than limiting education to conventional skin-pen systems, you’ll learn about the professional machines and cartridge configurations used in the Bare Beaute Method.
Training includes:
• Professional tattoo/PMU-style machine fundamentals
• Cartridge and needle configuration education
• Understanding different needle groupings
• Machine control and hand positioning
• Speed, movement and pressure principles
• Treatment-pattern techniques
• Working with different areas and tissue concerns
• Treatment endpoint recognition
• Equipment setup and breakdown
• Single-use cartridge safety and cross-contamination prevention
Most importantly, you’ll learn that equipment selection should support the treatment plan—not define it.
MORE THAN FACIAL MICRONEEDLING
This course isn’t limited to traditional facial rejuvenation.
We dive into the assessment and treatment principles surrounding:
Collagen Induction Therapy
Understand the wound-healing response and the role collagen and elastin remodeling play in treatment.
Stretch Marks
Learn how stretch marks develop, how their characteristics differ and how to approach treatment planning based on the tissue you’re working with.
Acne Scars
Explore scar assessment, texture, collagen remodeling and treatment considerations for different presentations of acne scarring.
Surgical & Traumatic Scars
Learn how scar history, maturity, appearance and tissue characteristics influence treatment decisions.
Skin Texture & Laxity
Understand how collagen-induction techniques may be incorporated into treatment plans addressing overall skin texture and appearance.

You’ll study:
• Skin anatomy and physiology
• Epidermis and dermis
• The wound-healing response
• Collagen and elastin
• Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) principles
• Skin remodeling
• Treatment response and healing
• Appropriate treatment expectationsSTRETCH MARK REVISION
Stretch marks are not all the same.
You’ll learn how stretch marks develop, how their appearance can change over time and considerations when developing an appropriate treatment plan.
Training includes:
• Understanding stretch-mark formation
• New vs. mature stretch marks
• Skin assessment
• Treatment planning
• Technique considerations
• Needle and device considerations
• Treatment depth principles
• Product selection
• Healing expectations
• Pre-care and aftercareThe goal isn’t simply to “needle over a stretch mark.”
It’s to understand the tissue you’re working with and why you’re choosing a particular approach.
ACNE SCAR EDUCATION
Learn how to recognize and assess different presentations of acne scarring and understand why scar type matters when planning treatment.
Topics include:
• Acne scar assessment
• Atrophic scarring considerations
• Skin texture
• Collagen remodeling principles
• Treatment planning
• Realistic client expectations
• When microneedling may—or may not—be appropriateSURGICAL & TRAUMATIC SCARS
Scar tissue requires thoughtful assessment.
Our curriculum explores considerations surrounding:
• Surgical scars
• Traumatic scars
• Mature scar tissue
• Scar texture and appearance
• Treatment planning
• Healing considerations
• Appropriate client selection
• Contraindications and when not to treatYou’ll learn why scar history, age, appearance and individual healing response matter before beginning treatment.
SKIN TEXTURE & LAXITY
Microneedling and CIT education isn’t limited to scars.
We’ll also discuss treatment planning for concerns involving:
• Uneven skin texture
• Overall skin quality
• Appearance of enlarged pores
• Fine lines
• Skin laxity
• Collagen support and remodelingFITZPATRICK SKIN TYPES & PIH
Understanding the Skin You’re Treating Matters
One of the most important parts of advanced skin education is understanding that not every skin type responds to inflammation in the same way.
You’ll learn about:
• Fitzpatrick skin typing
• Melanin response
• Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)
• Risk factors
• Client assessment
• Treatment considerations
• Conservative treatment planning
• When treatment should be postponed or declinedKnowing when NOT to treat is just as important as knowing how to perform a treatment.
DEVICE, NEEDLE & TECHNIQUE EDUCATION
You’ll learn how equipment and technique affect treatment.
Training covers:
• Microneedling device fundamentals
• Cartridge and needle configurations
• Needle selection
• Depth principles
• Speed and hand movement
• Pressure and passes
• Treatment patterns
• Endpoint recognition
• Working with different treatment areas
• Maintaining consistency and controlRather than memorizing one setting, you’ll learn the principles behind making treatment decisions.
PROFESSIONAL PRODUCT EDUCATION
Products used before, during and after treatment matter.
We’ll discuss:
• Skin preparation
• Appropriate treatment products
• Hydration and skin support
• Post-procedure products
• Ingredient considerations
• What should and should not be used with microneedling
• Professional aftercareThe focus is on understanding why a product belongs in a protocol, rather than simply memorizing a product list.
CONSULTATION & CLIENT ASSESSMENT
A successful treatment starts before the device ever touches the skin.
You’ll learn how to conduct a thorough consultation including:
• Client goals and expectations
• Medical and treatment history
• Skin assessment
• Scar assessment
• Fitzpatrick classification
• Contraindications
• Informed consent
• Photography and documentation

THE BARE BEAUTE APPROACH
We don’t want you leaving class simply knowing which cartridge to use or what setting to put your machine on.
We want you to understand:
What are you treating?
Why are you treating it this way?
What is happening within the skin?
What factors could change your treatment plan?
When should you modify, postpone or decline treatment?
That understanding is what allows technique to become intentional.
LEARN THE SKIN. UNDERSTAND THE TREATMENT. MASTER YOUR TECHNIQUE.
